Quality Assurance Consultant - Manual Testing & Load Testing

Job Purpose

This consulting role supports a project focused on improving national solid waste management in Bolivia. The purpose is to contribute to more efficient and sustainable processes by updating the Solid Waste Management Information System (SIGIR), developing replicable models for waste management, and establishing pilot projects. The role aims to enhance the integration of recyclers, support local government planning, and foster knowledge exchange on sustainable urban development, aligning with UN-Habitat's mandate and Sustainable Development Goal 11.

Responsibilities

The consultant will coordinate with the SIGIR Team to gather user stories and functional requirements, develop comprehensive test plans, and design/execute manual test cases (functional and exploratory). Responsibilities include creating detailed bug reports, performing bug tracking, and elaborating test execution reports with quality metrics. The role also involves executing load testing scenarios for various platforms (Web Portal, Recoverer/Recycler Portal, Mobile App) and validating products to ensure readiness before production deployment. Coordination with development teams and product owners for test case validation and sign-off is essential.

Work Experience

A minimum of two years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing is required. Demonstrated experience in designing and executing test cases based on user stories, functional testing, and exploratory testing is essential. Experience coordinating with development teams and product owners is also required.
