Organizational Context
The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, focused on providing technical assistance to promote sustainable growth and employment. Job Purpose

The intern will contribute to projects aimed at connecting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to global value chains, fostering export success, and generating sustainable incomes. The position is crucial for assisting OAP in its mission to drive sustainable development through trade, by supporting project implementation, research, and stakeholder engagement in the Asian and Pacific region.
Responsibilities
The intern will undertake research and analysis on economic situations and trade development trends in the region. Key duties include assisting in the preparation of project documents such as reports, work plans, and promotional materials. The role involves supporting the implementation of project activities, including the organization and coordination of meetings, trainings, and events. Additionally, the intern will aid in the selection process for direct project beneficiaries, assist with data collection, monitoring, and reporting on project progress, and collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.

Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is preferable. Excellent written communication skills are required. Advanced English proficiency is necessary, with working knowledge of Chinese being desirable.
