Job Purpose
This role supports the Government of the Philippines in operationalizing its Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement Manual of Operations. The specialist will translate key elements of the manual into accessible communication materials for the public, ensuring effective dissemination and understanding. This involves leading the preparation of deliverables, providing technical support, and facilitating consultations with stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project, contributing to the strengthening of environmental rule of law and sustainable development in the region.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and completion of project deliverables in consultation with relevant authorities. Provide technical support to achieve project outputs. Coordinate and facilitate consultations with all relevant stakeholders, including domestic travel as needed, to ensure smooth project completion. Translate key elements of the Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement Manual of Operations into clear, accessible, public-oriented communication materials. Support the effective dissemination and operationalization of the manual.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of progressive experience in communications, journalism, public information, or social media management is required. Experience in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Administrative Law, or Public Policy is desired. Experience in graphic design and content development tools is also desired. Experience with government agencies or international organizations is an asset.
