Training Support Consultant (e-Learning)
Organizational Context
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a Training Support Consultant for its Global eLearning platform. This role will focus on the quality assurance and operational support of Urdu-localized eLearning modules, contributing to the Preventing and Countering Terrorism Programme (PTP2). The consultant will work remotely.
Job Purpose
The Training Support Consultant (eLearning) is responsible for ensuring the quality and effective deployment of ten Urdu-localized eLearning modules on the UNODC Global eLearning platform. This involves conducting thorough quality assurance reviews, assessing linguistic and substantive accuracy, and coordinating revisions with the production team. Additionally, the role supports the operational delivery of training sessions across four CTD eLearning Centres by monitoring activities, analyzing training data, and providing guidance to site managers. The ultimate goal is to enhance the effectiveness of eLearning for law enforcement personnel and contribute to programme monitoring and reporting.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews of ten Urdu-localized eLearning modules, assessing linguistic accuracy and substantive content against expert feedback and pilot workshop inputs. Provide detailed written feedback and recommended revisions to the Global eLearning production team. Perform final quality assurance checks and issue deployment clearance for modules. Liaise with the production team to resolve issues related to localization, revision, and quality assurance. Coordinate with eLearning Site Managers to facilitate structured training sessions for law enforcement personnel. Monitor training session effectiveness, identify and address operational or technical challenges, and provide guidance to Site Managers. Collect, compile, and analyze monthly training data for programme monitoring and reporting. Support the preparation of training summaries and inputs for donor reporting.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in e-Learning, digital learning, or training support, including demonstrated experience in localization, translation, or quality assurance of online training courses. Experience with Urdu language training materials and supporting law enforcement or government entities is desirable.
