Job Purpose

The intern will contribute to the Centre's mandate of preventing illicit arms flows, promoting dialogue, and advancing peace education. This role provides practical experience in research, document preparation, and event support within a key UN disarmament body, contributing to regional peace and security efforts.
Responsibilities
The intern will provide support across UNRCPD's key programmatic areas. Key duties include assisting in drafting and preparing official documents, conducting research (document, legal, and internet-based), and supporting the preparation and servicing of conferences, workshops, and meetings. Additionally, the intern will help with the preparation and maintenance of web content and other communication materials. Responsibilities are tailored to the intern's background and the office assignment, contributing to the Centre's overall mission.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship program. However, applicants must be students in their final year of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. program, or have completed such a program. A field of study relevant to the internship is necessary.
Skills
