Job Purpose

The intern will monitor and analyze the work of UN intergovernmental bodies, including the General Assembly and ECOSOC, focusing on sustainable development, climate change, and related summits. Responsibilities include taking notes and summarizing key developments from ECOSOC meetings. The intern will also assist in preparing for conferences and meetings, such as the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) and the Voluntary National Review process. Additionally, the role involves preparing substantive documentation, contributing to speeches, background notes, and presentations, and conducting research and analysis on policy areas related to the 2030 Agenda. Information management and correspondence tasks are also part of the duties.
