Responsibilities
The intern will provide crucial support to the Digital Technology and Human Rights (DTHR) section. Key duties include researching and analyzing thematic and regional issues concerning digital technology and human rights. The intern will assist in drafting and summarizing reports, background materials, and other relevant documents. Furthermore, responsibilities extend to supporting the preparation and servicing of meetings, seminars, and workshops, which involves preparing documentation and drafting notes. The intern will also undertake other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the section's operational effectiveness and human rights mandate.
Work Experience
No professional work experience is required for this internship. However, prior knowledge or experience in human rights, digital rights, or the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights is considered desirable and would be beneficial.
