Organizational Context

Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The intern will primarily assist in planning and organizing capacity-building initiatives for women digital entrepreneurs, including stakeholder communication and background documentation preparation. Key duties involve drafting inputs for analytical studies, policy briefs, and presentations on women and digital entrepreneurship. The role includes supporting the organization of workshops, such as the one on Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in E-commerce and Digital Businesses in China. Additional responsibilities include providing substantive support for project documents, proofreading, editing, and translating reports, assisting with briefings and meetings, and preparing communication materials for various activities. The intern will also communicate with workshop participants and relevant stakeholders, and support other section activities as needed.
Work Experience

However, applicants must meet the specified educational criteria and demonstrate a keen interest in the work of the United Nations and its Charter ideals. A demonstrated ability to interact successfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds is also expected.
