Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Assist with statistical and analytical activities related to Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs), South-South Cooperation (SSC), and Beyond GDP initiatives. Support the preparation of documentation and the organization of meetings and events. Contribute to the analysis of data and the drafting of reports and publications. Perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting with outreach activities. Ensure adherence to UN rules, regulations, and directives. Maintain confidentiality of information and refrain from any activity incompatible with UN objectives. Provide copies of all materials prepared during the internship to the receiving office.
Work Experience
No professional work experience is required for this internship. However, applicants must be students in the final year of a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program, or have completed such a program. A field of study relevant to the internship is essential. Applicants should possess computer literacy in standard software applications.
Skills
Computer literacy in standard software applications. Demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations. Ability to interact successfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of data analysis and/or programming (R, Python, Stata or similar) is desirable. Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
