Responsibilities
The intern will assist in designing and implementing UN communication or outreach campaigns. They will contribute to organizing public information and communication activities, focusing on outreach and visibility. Responsibilities include drafting and developing social media campaigns, preparing multimedia content, and scheduling posts for UNIC Mexico's platforms. The intern will also produce regular news bulletins and media updates highlighting UN initiatives and events. Additionally, they will assist in producing or editing audiovisual and graphic materials, such as videos, photos, and infographics, to enhance digital visibility and storytelling efforts.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship. However, a strong academic background in a relevant field is essential. Familiarity with standard office software and multimedia production tools is expected.
Skills
Proficiency in standard office software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva). Ability to draft and edit news articles, press releases, and social media content. Strong communication and organizational skills. Fluency in Spanish; English desirable.
