Organizational Context

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT), a regional institute of ESCAP, is based in Incheon, Republic of Korea. Established in 2006, its mandate is to strengthen member states' capacities in using ICT for socio-economic development. APCICT focuses on training, advisory services, and partnerships, and operates an e-learning platform.

Job Purpose

This role supports APCICT's e-learning production, digital outreach, training, research, and knowledge-sharing activities. The incumbent will develop and enhance e-learning course materials, manage the APCICT Virtual Academy and website, and produce multimedia content. Responsibilities include assisting with outreach, social media, and digital communications. The position requires technical and administrative support for various centre activities, contributing to APCICT's mission of leveraging ICT for development across the Asia-Pacific region. The role is based on-site in Incheon for the contract duration.

Responsibilities

Develop and upgrade e-learning course materials, enhancing user interfaces with appropriate technologies and instructional design. Support the maintenance, customization, and enhancement of the Learning Management System (LMS) in coordination with OICT. Maintain, update, and improve the content and functionality of APCICT's website. Assist in the development and production of multimedia learning materials, including videos, graphics, and animations. Support APCICT's outreach and promotional activities, such as website content management, social media management, publication layout and design, and digital communications. Provide technical and administrative support for e-learning, research, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Work Experience

Required experience includes e-learning content development, website content management, multimedia production, graphic design, and digital publishing. Desirable experience includes supporting LMS operations, social media management, digital outreach activities, and working with an international organization.
