Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The intern will support the UNAI team with daily tasks under the supervision of Associate Public Information Officers. Key responsibilities include conducting internet research on thematic issues related to UNAI's principles and mandate. The intern will assist in producing, drafting, formatting, editing, and posting web content, including news stories, graphics, photographs, and videos. Additional duties involve creating social media content for LinkedIn, preparing the weekly UNAI Newsletter, and aiding in the planning and organization of lectures and events by researching speakers and preparing promotional materials. The role also includes maintaining UNAI databases and providing general office support, such as correspondence, file management, and meeting organization.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship. However, a strong academic background in a relevant field is essential. Desired skills include experience in writing, social media, and multimedia production. Familiarity with standard office software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and the ability to interact effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds are also beneficial.
