Organizational Context

The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) seeks a Vehicle Washer in Bangui. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational readiness and professional appearance of the mission's fleet, ensuring vehicles are presentable and functional for all operational needs.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all MINUSCA vehicles are kept in a clean and tidy condition, both internally and externally. This involves proactively managing a cleaning schedule, conducting regular checks on all vehicle types, and performing detailed cleaning before and after maintenance. The role contributes to the overall efficiency and image of the mission by maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation, especially for important events and high-level visits, thereby supporting the mission's mandate.

Responsibilities

Maintain all MINUSCA vehicles in a consistently clean and orderly state, both inside and out. Independently determine cleaning needs based on a regular and systematic schedule. Conduct routine checks on less frequently cleaned vehicles, such as trucks, cranes, and forklifts. Responsibly use appropriate cleaning equipment in an environmentally conscious manner, avoiding damage to vehicle surfaces. Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles before and after maintenance or repair work in the Transport workshop. Execute exceptionally detailed cleaning for special occasions, such as high-level visits to the mission.

Work Experience
