Job Purpose
The Programme Analyst will provide essential human resources, administrative, operational, logistical, documentation, reporting, data management, and coordination support to the UNEP FI Nature programme team. This role is crucial for the effective and efficient delivery of the programme's objectives, ensuring timely completion of all administrative and operational activities. By working closely with team leads and members, the analyst will facilitate smooth operations, support project development and implementation, and contribute to the overall success of UNEP FI's mission to promote sustainable finance and its alignment with global environmental goals.
Responsibilities
The Programme Analyst will support the Nature Team with various tasks including travel arrangements, HR operations, and administrative support such as updating Terms of Reference and assisting with recruitment and onboarding. They will maintain internal trackers and tools for donor reporting, project development, and team monitoring. Responsibilities also include coordinating timely project report submissions, supporting project development and implementation documentation, and managing contractual processes with implementing partners. Additionally, the role involves organizing team meetings, managing document flow, tracking data, and facilitating internal communications to ensure efficient team operations.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience in administrative or programme support and project coordination is required. Experience with donor-funded projects or other international organizations is particularly relevant.
