Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The Associate Administrative Officer is responsible for coordinating human resources and administrative management processes, including staff records, employment requests, and compliance with HR policies. This includes facilitating onboarding and separation. The role also involves managing office and project budgets, monitoring expenditures, handling cash payments, and preparing financial reports. Procurement activities, such as tendering and purchasing, are managed, along with inventory control and logistical operations. The officer serves as custodian for IT equipment and furniture, coordinates maintenance, and oversees the disposal of obsolete assets. Responsibilities extend to inspecting facilities for safety compliance and identifying maintenance needs. Furthermore, the role includes compiling and analyzing statistical data, responding to correspondence, preparing operational reports, and organizing meetings and events. Work Experience
A minimum of three years of experience in administrative work, human resources, or office management is required. Knowledge of agency financial and HR rules and regulations is desirable.
