Job Purpose

The intern will gain practical experience in digital communications, content management, and event support within an international organization, working under the supervision of the Digital Communications Assistant or Desk Officer.
Responsibilities
The Social Media Intern will assist in planning, creating, and curating content using Trello boards. Responsibilities include collecting and collating multimedia information, monitoring sources for new content, and editing/subtitling news videos using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Canva. The intern will also create visuals and quote cards using online tools, attend events to gather quotes and photos, and draft social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Additionally, the role involves researching trends, suggesting content, monitoring social media for comments, flagging inquiries, and actively participating in live event coverage.
Work Experience

However, the role involves practical application of skills in content creation, social media management, and event support.
