Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Assist in country-level project activities related to life cycle approaches and circularity in textiles. Review project deliverables and support project management processes. Conduct research and analysis on key topics such as chemicals in textiles and fashion consumption trends. Contribute to communications efforts, including newsletters and campaigns. Support the organization of international events. Collaborate with the UNEP Textiles Unit team, working under the direction of a Programme Manager. Engage in technical, research, coordination, and communication tasks as assigned, adapting to team priorities and individual learning objectives.
Work Experience
No prior working experience is required for this United Nations Internship Programme. The focus is on the applicant's current education, advanced coursework, or skills that can benefit the UN during the internship period. Computer literacy in standard software applications is expected.
