Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The consultant will finalize and update training materials on the IIMP Data Protection Policy and Standard Operating Procedures. This includes developing practical tools such as presentations, case studies, exercises, and guidance notes. The role involves designing and delivering tailored training sessions for IIMP personnel covering data protection principles, privacy obligations, information governance, and the secure handling of sensitive information. The consultant will also provide practical guidance on implementing data protection policies, conducting data impact assessments, and facilitating discussions to address staff queries. Finally, the consultant will prepare a comprehensive report detailing activities, observations, and recommendations for ongoing awareness and capacity-building.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in data protection, privacy, information governance, or legal advisory services is required. Experience in developing and delivering training programs on these topics is also required. Experience in international organizations or humanitarian settings is desirable.
