Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include researching, compiling, drafting, and editing basic information (text, images, videos, infographics) for Chinese social media content, often under tight deadlines. The intern will monitor and analyze social media statistics, including engagement metrics, audience analytics, and content performance. Duties also involve assisting with content creation by capturing highlights from UN events, developing engaging content tailored for specific Chinese platforms, and editing short-form and long-form video content. Additionally, the intern will attend meetings, manage agendas, draft meeting notes, and assist with special projects as assigned.
Work Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study closely related to the internship is necessary. Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with PC-based graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, iMovie, Adobe Premiere) are required. Additional knowledge of web and social media tools like Drupal, Canva, and Trello is considered an advantage.
