Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide practical experience in IT support within the United Nations Environment Programme's Governance Affairs office. The intern will assist with website updates, manage registration processes for meetings, conduct client satisfaction surveys, draft accreditation memos, and support communication with stakeholders. The role contributes to the efficient operation of the Civil Society Unit and its engagement with various groups, ensuring smooth information flow and effective stakeholder relations.
Responsibilities
Support website updates, including adding/editing accredited organizations, uploading documents, and editing web content. Assist with registration processes for meetings and manage participant lists. Develop and conduct client satisfaction surveys, analyzing feedback for the Committee of Permanent Representatives. Draft accreditation memos for organizations seeking accreditation. Facilitate effective communication with accredited UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholders, adhering to UN mandates. Manage internal databases for Major Groups and Stakeholders. Undertake other assigned tasks as requested by the supervisor.
