The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), through its Subregional Office for East and North-East Asia (SOENEA), supports regional cooperation and sustainable development in North-East Asia. Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide practical experience in communications and multimedia production within the UN Secretariat's ESCAP SOENEA office. The intern will support regional cooperation and sustainable development initiatives by creating visual communication materials, assisting with digital content, and contributing to outreach activities. This role offers an opportunity to develop professional skills in a multicultural environment while contributing to the UN's mission in North-East Asia. The internship is unpaid and full-time, lasting for 3-6 months, under the supervision of a staff member.
Responsibilities
Design and produce various visual communication materials, including event flyers, posters, factsheets, and infographics. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other communication products. Create short promotional video clips and event highlights. Support the development of website and social media content. Assist with photography, video editing, and general multimedia production. Ensure branding and layout design adhere to UN visual identity guidelines. Support outreach and visibility activities for meetings and regional forums. Perform other related duties as assigned.
