Organizational Context

The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) provides global leadership and operational support for the UN Security Management System. UNDSS enables the safe and effective delivery of UN programs in challenging environments. This internship is within the Division of Field Operations, Security Information Analysis Section (SIAS), supporting strategic planning and analytical performance.

Responsibilities

Support information analysis requirements, conduct preliminary research using publicly available information, and assist with the visualization and preparation of presentation decks. Responsibilities also include supporting research, analysis, and the creation of briefing notes. The intern will undertake other duties as required within their assigned authority, contributing to the strategic planning and analytical performance of the SIAS team.
