Responsibilities
The intern will support country-level and sub-regional programmes, focusing on project/programme monitoring, reporting, and evaluation. Key duties include assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of regional and country-level projects. The role involves supporting inter-agency collaboration and country team coordination on development and humanitarian issues. Additionally, the intern will aid in the administration, budgeting, and management of projects, track funding calls, and support resource mobilization efforts. Responsibilities also extend to information and knowledge management, preparing concept papers, project documents, and publications, and assisting with communication activities, including website content and drafting web stories. The intern will also help organize and follow up on meetings and workshops.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship. However, applicants must be students in the final year of a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program, or have completed such a program. A field of study closely related to the internship's focus is necessary. Good communication and research skills are desirable, particularly in sustainable urban development or climate change.
