This internship is within the Enterprise Programme & Vendor Management (EPVM) unit of the Strategic Management Office (SMO), which supports OIM's strategic goals and ensures alignment with its mission and values.
Job Purpose
This internship aims to support the Enterprise Programme & Vendor Management (EPVM) unit in strengthening the Enterprise Vendor Management (EVM) framework. The intern will collect and analyze data to provide actionable insights, assist in processing financial requests, review and propose improvements to manual processes, and contribute to developing BI reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making. The role also involves updating the SharePoint site and Intranet page to enhance organization and communication within the unit.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include reviewing and updating Enterprise Vendor Management (EVM) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and templates. The intern will assist in processing and documenting financial requests, including invoices, budgets, and purchase orders, and perform auxiliary reconciliation. A significant duty involves reviewing existing manual processes for invoices, vendors, contracts, and procurement coordination, and proposing automated solutions using technologies like Microsoft Power Automate or ServiceNow. Additionally, the intern will analyze EVM data to develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards for KPI tracking and informed decision-making, and propose updates to SharePoint and Intranet pages for better organization and communication.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship. However, applicants must possess a strong interest and good knowledge in vendor management, contract management, and procurement support. Familiarity with standard software applications, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams, is necessary. Experience with Business Intelligence tools and AI technologies is desirable.
