The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) Mexico unit seeks a photographer to document activities for a project on regional integration and green productive development. Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality photographic documentation for the ECLAC Mexico project "Regional Integration and Green Productive Development towards a More Productive, Inclusive, and Sustainable Future in Latin America." The photographer will capture images of a high-level seminar and related technical meetings, contributing essential visual content for the project's communication and dissemination strategy. This visual record will help showcase the project's objectives, scope, and achievements, enhancing institutional visibility and supporting efforts to promote sustainable and inclusive development in the region. The work involves preparation, on-site coverage, and post-production, ensuring a comprehensive visual narrative of the event.
Responsibilities
The photographer will be responsible for preparing a work plan and schedule in coordination with the Head of the International Trade and Productive Development Unit. This includes planning coverage logistics and locations. Key duties involve generating a photographic record of project activities, specifically covering the high-level seminar "Transformations for Productive, Inclusive, and Sustainable Development" and its parallel technical meetings. Post-production tasks include editing and selecting photographs, adjusting color, brightness, and framing, and identifying individuals, dates, and locations. The contractor will also be responsible for final delivery of all edited, high-resolution color photographs, ensuring proper identification and format, and may undertake other related tasks as needed.
Work Experience
A minimum of 10 years of professional photography experience is required, preferably in journalism. Experience as a photojournalist, in publications, or in editorial roles is desirable.
