Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a social media campaign for care economy and entrepreneurship events, and supporting the finalization of a publication on care systems. The role involves maintaining ESCAP's Gender Equality webpage and the Asia-Pacific Gender Portal. Additionally, it requires supporting engagement in ASEAN events focused on women's economic empowerment and the care economy, and contributing to the design and communications strategy for a web-based role-play game. The position will also assist in preparing for a regional forum on women entrepreneurship, conceptualizing online learning tools, developing advocacy materials, and creating written communications such as speeches, blog posts, and press releases.
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of experience in undertaking research and analysis on socioeconomic issues is required. Previous experience with UN entities working on gender equality issues is desirable.
Skills
Strong research and drafting skills are necessary. Experience in designing social media campaigns, event support, content creation, and communications strategy development is expected.
