This role supports the successful rollout and adoption of UN Campus across participating entities, contributing to the development and integration of digital tools for a more effective and inclusive workplace.
Job Purpose
The LMS Technical Support Specialist will provide crucial support for the UN Campus, the Secretariat's enterprise-level Learning Management System. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth development, operationalization, and adoption of the platform. Responsibilities include managing learning content, user access, and providing customized support for onboarding and training. The specialist will also contribute to quality assurance, troubleshoot technical issues, test new features, and explore AI-enabled tools to enhance personalized learning and operational efficiency. By synthesizing feedback and creating user documentation, this position directly impacts the platform's continuous improvement and its effectiveness in supporting organizational development and a culture of engagement and accountability.
Responsibilities
Support the development and operationalization of the UN Campus LMS, including content creation, management, and user access maintenance. Facilitate seamless adoption by providing customized support for entity onboarding, data migration, and functional training. Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure platform stability and user experience, and synthesize feedback for continuous improvement. Test new features, plugins, and updates, while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and operational issues. Explore and test AI-enabled tools for personalized learning paths and operational efficiency. Assess reporting requirements and implement effective data solutions. Create and update user manuals, technical guides, SOPs, and best practice guidelines to standardize operationalization across the organization. Perform other related duties as required.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in managing, administering, and supporting Moodle Workplace or other Learning Management Systems is required. Experience in learning and development, particularly in training design and delivery, is desirable.
