Job Purpose
The Human Resources Assistant will provide crucial administrative and HR support for the recruitment of Mo Ibrahim Foundation fellows at the ECA. The role also includes providing backup support for the RPMS system and assisting with the transition of recruitment processes to the SSG project. The incumbent will ensure efficient and organized handling of applications, maintain accurate records, and facilitate the selection process in coordination with the HR Partner and the ECA division focal point, contributing to the successful onboarding of fellows.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include managing the recruitment process for ECA fellows, specifically the Mo Ibrahim Foundation applications. This involves reviewing incoming applications, assessing eligibility, and preparing candidate lists. The role requires maintaining applicant records, acknowledging receipt of applications, and coordinating panel reviews. Additionally, the Human Resources Assistant will provide backup support for the RPMS system and assist in the transition to the SSG project. Support will also be provided for the engagement and reporting of consultants for specific projects, ensuring all administrative duties related to recruitment and consultant management are handled efficiently and accurately.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, administrative services, or a related field is required. This is reduced to 3 years for candidates with a university degree. Specific experience in human resources, particularly in the recruitment of affiliated personnel, is essential. A minimum of 1 year of experience in data analytics or a related area is desirable.
