Job Purpose

The position contributes to the UN's broader digital transformation by supporting a shift towards more user-centered, data-informed, and AI-aware communication strategies, ensuring effective online engagement and information dissemination.
Responsibilities
Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia, ensuring correct formatting, tagging, and compliance with UN branding and accessibility standards. Conduct regular quality assurance checks for broken links, missing images, and page responsiveness, and monitor site uptime. Provide user support to UNCT website focal points globally, responding to queries and offering guidance on content updates and CMS usage. Assist in basic troubleshooting for CMS-related issues and prepare simple monthly summaries of website performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics. Support ongoing efforts to improve online content structure, usability, and visibility, and contribute to testing and applying digital improvements.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in public information, journalism, international relations, digital marketing, or web development is required for Bachelor's degree holders. Experience with multilingual websites using Drupal or comparable CMS, performing quality assurance, and using Google Analytics is required. Experience with online collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365 is desirable.
