Job Purpose
This role supports the ITC SheTrades Initiative by delivering business-oriented soft skills training to women entrepreneurs in Jordan. The consultant will adapt and deliver training modules focusing on mindset, communication, goal setting, strategic planning, negotiation, and pitching. The purpose is to empower women entrepreneurs, address common barriers such as confidence and communication, and enhance their ability to access and grow in regional and international markets. The role involves both online and on-site workshops, coaching sessions, and networking events to foster their success in the digital economy.
Responsibilities
The consultant will adapt and contextualize ITC SheTrades training materials into Arabic, ensuring alignment with gender-responsive and results-oriented learning objectives. Responsibilities include delivering three one-day soft skills training sessions covering business communication, negotiation, and pitching, and facilitating six "Motivation Lab" group coaching sessions to reinforce learned skills. The role also involves supporting peer circle accountability sessions and community-building events in collaboration with local partners. Additionally, the consultant will administer pre- and post-assessment tools, monitor training progress, collect participant feedback, and prepare comprehensive training reports detailing outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in training and coaching on topics like leadership, emotional intelligence, sales, or negotiation is required. Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching adults, particularly women, and applying adult learning principles is essential. Experience with gender-inclusive initiatives and in trade/business contexts, preferably digital, is a plus.
Skills
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills (written and oral). Strong communication, marketing, and outreach expertise. Adaptable and culturally sensitive with strong stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to tailor training materials to diverse audiences. Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently under deadlines.
