Job Purpose
This internship within the UN Human Rights Recruitment Unit in Geneva offers a 3-6 month opportunity to support talent attraction and recruitment initiatives. The role contributes to the Human Resources Management Section's strategic goal of delivering effective, people-centered HR services. The intern will assist in sourcing candidates, engaging diverse talent pools, maintaining pipelines, and contributing to employer branding and talent attraction strategies, ultimately supporting the organization's mandate to fill staffing needs and promote human rights globally.
Responsibilities
The intern will support the talent attraction and recruitment initiatives of the UN Human Rights Recruitment Unit. Key duties include actively participating in talent sourcing and outreach activities across various platforms and databases. The role involves assisting in efforts to attract diverse candidate pools through targeted outreach and engagement. Additionally, the intern will help maintain candidate pipelines or rosters and contribute to the development of employer branding and talent attraction strategies. Support will also be provided to colleagues on other recruitment-related tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit and contributing to the overall human resources mandate.
Work Experience

Applicants should possess good knowledge of standard software applications, particularly the MS Office Suite.
