Web Design and User Experience (UX) Consultant for a Geospatial Vaccination Microplanning Platform

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Job Purpose
To define the user experience of a cloud-based web platform for geospatial microplanning of vaccination campaigns, aiming to identify, prioritize, and monitor areas with children who have not received the first dose of measles vaccine. This involves developing user profiles, information architecture, interaction flows, wireframes, and accessibility criteria to translate programmatic needs into a clear interface for public health teams.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and document technical components including user research and needs assessment, designing information architecture and interaction flows for data upload, visualization, and monitoring, and developing low- and medium-fidelity wireframes with guidance on visual, accessibility, and responsive design.
Work Experience
Minimum of three years in web design, UX/UI, user research, prototyping, and usability evaluation, preferably in digital solutions for public health, analytics, geospatial data, or institutional platforms. Demonstrated experience in user sessions, complex process flows, prototypes, usability testing, and collaboration with technical teams.
