Organizational Context
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Job Purpose
To develop the National Guideline for the Follow-up and Treatment of Precancerous Lesions of Cervical Cancer (CCU).
Responsibilities
Design and guide the comprehensive methodological process for the development of the National Follow-up and Treatment Guideline. Facilitate technical coordination with stakeholders from the Ministry of Public Health, academia, scientific societies, and other experts. Develop an activity schedule and coordinate the agenda for working group meetings. Review, analyze, and systematize updated scientific evidence and expert contributions. Draft and consolidate the final guideline document, ensuring coherence, technical rigor, and standardized format for publication and implementation.
Work Experience
At least three years of experience in developing Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) or healthcare guidelines. Advanced knowledge in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience in searching, analyzing, and systematizing scientific evidence. Leadership capacity and experience coordinating multidisciplinary and inter-institutional technical teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical English for reading scientific evidence.
Skills
Excellent technical writing skills, leadership, coordination, analytical skills, and proficiency in IT tools.
