Organizational Context
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Job Purpose
To strengthen integrated health networks for people in mobility in Mexico, improving their access to health, protection, and rights through Multiservice Centers for Inclusion and Development. The role focuses on supporting child and maternal health components within these centers, ensuring continuous and non-discriminatory access to essential health services for mobile populations.
Responsibilities
Support technical cooperation activities for maternal and child health components in Multiservice Centers. Provide training and follow-up to staff on child malnutrition detection, vaccination schedules, and identification of warning signs for common childhood illnesses and developmental issues. Facilitate national technical meetings and training workshops. Identify opportunities to expand cooperation between PAHO and national health entities.
Work Experience
Essential: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience at the local, sub-national, or national level.
