Organizational Context
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Job Purpose
To support the planning, execution, and monitoring of maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health projects in prioritized regions of Honduras, and to prepare progress reports for donors.
Responsibilities
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects in prioritized regions; coordinate with the Ministry of Health (SESAL) for project implementation; conduct site visits and coordination meetings with regional authorities; prepare meeting minutes; and report on project progress and implementation in specific regions.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of experience in maternal health, neonatal health, sexual and reproductive health, and coordination/management of maternal and neonatal health projects in international organizations. Must have experience in human resource capacity building, coordination with Ministry of Health authorities, regional health authorities, and hospitals, and experience in writing progress reports for donors.

Synthesis skills for report writing and oral/written presentations; innovation and creativity in technical cooperation; ability to facilitate intersectoral and inter-agency processes; teamwork; ethical conduct; good interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure; adaptability to institutional policy changes.
Required Languages
Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
