The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Job Purpose

PAHO seeks to design, implement, and document reports and dashboards to analyze and track Member State demand, procurement, and financial activities. The role will create an integrated reporting framework to automate financial statements from the Trial Balance, ensuring consistency between financial data. This consultancy requires expertise in financial reporting, Power BI, and ERP-based data environments.

Responsibilities

Develop Cold Chain analytics reporting and Power BI dashboards. Prepare reporting-ready datasets and structure Cold Chain catalog data. Build Cold Chain dashboard pages and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Prepare analytics foundation and reporting deliverables for Claims, including data preparation and report development in Power BI. Conduct UAT for Claims reports. Provide technical enhancements and operational support for the Business Intelligence platform, including Workday reporting, Data Warehouse development, SQL engineering, and Power BI solutions. Support Member State Portal and Supplier Collaboration Portal functionalities. Investigate and resolve production issues and coordinate technical changes. Provide technical guidance on reporting architecture and data models. Consolidate and rationalize existing Regional Revolving Funds (RRF) dashboards and reports to reduce duplication and improve clarity. Design and implement a structured approach to integrate notes to the financial statements with underlying accounting data. Review and enhance existing monthly Power BI reports, focusing on clarity, usability, and visualization. Provide training and documentation for Power BI solutions. Implement row-level security in Power BI. Create technical documentation and end-user guidance.

Work Experience

7 years of experience managing IT projects. Strong background in improving business processes and applications for enterprise procurement functions. Strong technical skills in systems analysis, gathering requirements, system documentation, and management of systems implementation projects. Proven knowledge of Business Intelligence practices, Power BI, Microsoft Data Warehousing, and Data management. Strong experience in data transformation, data visualization, KPIs, and scorecards. Experience as a Power BI developer with Power Query, DAX, and SQL skills. Strong experience with data warehousing ETL/ELT processes development using Azure Data Factory. Experience working with REST APIs and integrating data from multiple sources. Knowledge of IDE tools such as MS Visual Studio.
