Job Purpose
The National Human Resources Officer – Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) is responsible for supporting the implementation, enhancement, and effective use of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) for global Human Resources (HR) reporting and analytics. The role focuses on front-end development with scope for data engineering tasks. Key contributions include delivering timely and accurate data products, bolstering evidence-based decision-making, and advancing HR data management, reporting, and business intelligence services across the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This position operates under the supervision of the Senior Human Resources Officer (HRSA) and the Junior Professional Officer (HR Officer - AI and HR Solutions), in coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting and coordinating the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle FDI, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and standards. The role involves analyzing reporting needs and developing analytics solutions, as well as creating, maintaining, and enhancing FDI-based reports and dashboards. Technical input on Oracle FDI architecture, including semantic models and data pipelines, is required in coordination with ICT teams. The officer will coordinate cross-module data integration, collaborate with business users on KPIs and reporting parameters, and contribute to FDI enhancements by identifying user experience improvements. Presenting business reporting requirements, conducting performance tuning, and monitoring industry trends are also crucial. Additionally, the role involves preparing guidance materials, coordinating testing activities, contributing to data governance efforts, and providing operational support as needed.
Work Experience
Requires at least four years of progressive professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, ERP systems support, or HR information systems, preferably within a large organization. Experience with implementing, maintaining, or enhancing enterprise reporting, analytics, or ERP solutions like Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Analytics, or Oracle Cloud ERP is essential. Experience coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate initiatives, along with experience in testing and troubleshooting reporting solutions, is also necessary. Experience in an international or UN system organization is advantageous.
Skills
Proficiency in translating business requirements into reporting specifications and analytical solutions. Strong analytical skills for assessing data trends and proposing recommendations. Understanding of data quality, governance, confidentiality, and access control in enterprise reporting. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and Teams is advantageous. Ability to produce high-quality, accurate outputs with limited supervision. Initiative, sound judgment, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
