Job Purpose
The Driver's primary purpose is to ensure the safe and cost-effective transportation of IOM staff and authorized goods within cities and to field locations. Responsibilities

They are responsible for identifying the safest and most efficient routes, ensuring vehicle use is strictly for authorized purposes, and meticulously preparing daily log sheets and monthly reports on mileage and fuel consumption. Work Experience
Required experience includes a strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations, experience operating various makes and models of vehicles, and proficiency in performing minor vehicle repairs. Familiarity with radio, email, and telephone applications is also necessary for effective communication and coordination.
Skills
Essential skills include knowledge of road safety regulations and UNDSS security procedures, preventive vehicle maintenance, and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Competencies in fleet logbook management, fuel consumption tracking, and vehicle inspection are required. The ability to drive different vehicle types, plan routes effectively, and ensure the safe transport of staff and goods is crucial. Basic computer skills for email and navigation applications are also necessary.
