Job Purpose
The Senior Project Associate, USRAP Travel Loan, Reconciliation is responsible for performing daily and monthly Travel Loan Program (TLP) reconciliations. This role is crucial for supporting the financial and humanitarian objectives of the Program by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and adherence to regulatory standards, including FCRA and FDCPA, as well as U.S. federal and state financial regulations. The incumbent will execute established policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of the TLP.
Responsibilities
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, including payments, returned checks, and overpayments, and support the Accounts Receivable process by analyzing and categorizing daily bank transactions. Reconcile all bank transactions with Collect! and verify WAVE system reports, resolving variances and maintaining documentation for audit purposes. Support the preparation of summaries and address discrepancies promptly, particularly in high-variance categories. Provide supporting documentation for settlements outside normal guidelines and authorize credit bureau deletions within established limits. Ensure accurate data entry in the WAVE system according to IOM and U.S. financial rules, manage e-Filing system storage, and update the SOP handbook for bank reconciliation. Support the end-to-end debt dispute resolution process, including analyzing complaints, validating debt details, and preparing responses. Uphold RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of applicable SOPs, related systems, and IOM Standards of Conduct, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all relevant paperwork.
Work Experience
Requires at least two years of experience in office management, office accounting/bookkeeping, and billing and collections.
