Job Purpose
This Project Team Lead role is crucial for the successful implementation of the "Helios+" project in the South Aegean region. The purpose is to oversee and guide a team in delivering comprehensive support for the integration of beneficiaries of international and temporary protection into Greek society. This includes facilitating employability, language acquisition, vocational training, and independent living initiatives. The role contributes to promoting social cohesion and inclusion by ensuring the effective and harmonized provision of project activities, working collaboratively with national and local authorities, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives and support migrants' successful integration.
Responsibilities
Supervise and guide direct reports, developing methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures for quality service delivery. Monitor the quality of services provided by the project team and implementing partners, reporting to senior management. Collaborate with other project components, IOM departments, and relevant actors to ensure harmonized and efficient activity provision. Coordinate effectively with the Implementing Partner for timely and qualitative service delivery, including information and logistics. Ensure data collection, quality of means of verification, and timely submission of reports. Assess project needs and report to senior management for informed decision-making. Represent the project in relevant meetings with donors, stakeholders, and working groups. Participate in drafting donor reports. Perform other assigned duties.
Work Experience
Requires at least two years of previous work experience. Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred.
Skills
Computer literacy in standard software applications. Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles. A valid driver's license with at least five years of driving experience is an advantage.
