Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include providing individualized case management, conducting needs assessments, and developing integration plans for migrants. This involves facilitating access to essential services such as housing, healthcare, education, and employment support through referrals and coordination with service providers. The role requires assisting clients with job readiness, including CV development and interview preparation. Maintaining accurate, confidential case records, preparing reports, and advocating for clients are also crucial. Additionally, the position involves delivering orientation sessions, managing client data securely, building relationships with local partners, and collaborating with colleagues across different sectors to ensure a holistic approach to client support.
Work Experience
Required experience includes liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs. Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups is essential. Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations or government institutions in a multicultural setting is considered an advantage.
