Job Purpose
The Project Associate - Integration role supports the integration of Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP's) in Ireland into independent living. This involves facilitating access to essential support services, language provision, and providing individualized assistance. The position operates under the supervision of the Senior Integration Associate and contributes to the overall project objectives by ensuring effective support mechanisms are in place for BOTP's, aiding their successful settlement and integration within Ireland. The role also encompasses other program-related responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
Key duties include assisting in the implementation and monitoring of project activities, retrieving, compiling, and analyzing project-related data, and supporting the Senior Integration Associate in developing and implementing integration strategies through research. The role involves developing referral pathways and stakeholder mapping, acting as a focal point for administrative coordination, and liaising with diverse internal and external parties. Responsibilities also include drafting status reports, correspondence, and other project documentation, responding to information requests, organizing meetings, and participating in conferences. Additionally, the associate will assist in monitoring implementing partners, provide guidance to junior staff, and perform other assigned duties.
Work Experience
Required experience includes liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs. Experience working with vulnerable groups such as migrants, refugees, and victims of trafficking is essential. Prior experience in a multicultural setting with international humanitarian organizations or government institutions is advantageous.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of migration-related subject areas. Familiarity with UN and bilateral donor programming. Understanding of financial rules and regulations.
