Job Purpose

The National Project Officer will support the Project Manager/Head of Sub-Office in Faya with administrative, human, and logistical resource coordination. Responsibilities include planning and implementing project activities, representing IOM, and coordinating interventions within the province. The role involves participating in community-based planning, identifying and prioritizing initiatives with local committees, and providing technical support for community stabilization and peacebuilding programs. This includes developing partnerships, contributing to new project development and contextual analysis, and supporting narrative reporting through data collection and synthesis. The officer will also enhance project visibility and communication of achievements.
Work Experience
A strong background in project management, particularly in conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and social cohesion, is essential. Knowledge of the Chadian context, especially the BET region's dynamics, is highly valued. Experience in communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including governments and international institutions, is advantageous.
