Job Purpose
The Programme Coordinator (Peace, Recovery & Solutions Division (PRSD) Coordination Unit) is responsible for managing the division's coordination unit and overseeing administrative, operational, financial, and budgetary support functions within IOM Iraq's PRSD. This role is critical for developing and clearing funding proposals, donor reports, and divisional planning and advocacy products. The position drives coherence and alignment across PRSD thematic areas, ensuring adherence to IOM's institutional frameworks, policies, and standards. The purpose is to ensure efficient and effective support for the division's peace, recovery, and solutions initiatives, contributing to IOM's overall mandate in Iraq.
Responsibilities
Manage administrative, operational, financial, and budgetary support for the PRSD division, ensuring compliance with IOM regulations. Supervise the Coordination Unit team, providing direction and capacity building. Coordinate the design and development of programmes and projects, including funding proposals and concept notes, ensuring alignment with donor interests and IOM standards. Clear donor reports and public-facing products for quality and compliance. Monitor portfolio-wide commitments, expenditure, and compliance, advising on risks and recommending actions. Develop briefing notes, background materials, and planning products, providing contextual analysis and strategic recommendations. Lead knowledge management for the division, capturing and translating best practices and lessons learned. Drive alignment across PRSD pillars for divisional planning and advocacy, serving as a key interface with central IOM Iraq functions.
Work Experience
Experience in hardship/emergency contexts, international organizations, and the UN system is required. Proven experience in migration issues, project development/design/implementation, and administrative/financial management is essential. Experience with donor relations, grant management, funding mechanisms, inter-agency coordination, and field operations is also necessary.

Ability to coordinate and support multicultural teams. Knowledge of information and knowledge management systems. Ability to work accurately under pressure with good judgment and confidentiality.
