It plays a critical role in saving lives, protecting migrants, and facilitating legal pathways. The organization is undergoing a Business Transformation (BT) process, updating its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and processes globally to ensure a future-ready operational model.

Job Purpose

The ICT Officer (Corporate Solutions & AI) contributes to the smooth operation of IOM's Oracle ERP solution, its extensions, and integrations on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role is crucial for maintaining technical proficiency amidst continuous platform updates and driving business improvements. The position supports the Business Transformation initiative by ensuring the ERP system, including AI capabilities, is optimized, secure, and cost-efficient. The officer will also be involved in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes across various modules, aligning with IOM's enterprise architecture and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) PaaS/IaaS, Oracle AI Data Platform, Oracle EPM, and Oracle Fusion ERP, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Oversee platform monitoring, operational continuity, and resource usage. Develop and maintain architectural artifacts and OCI configurations. Manage user license consumption and provide optimization recommendations. Oversee the lifecycle management of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM SaaS environments, including upgrades and refreshes. Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards. Manage issue tracking and resolution for ERP scheduled processes. Implement and test backup and data recovery procedures in OCI. Administer security, identity, and access governance. Provide advanced technical support and subject matter expertise for Oracle platforms. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating emerging technologies and Oracle Cloud updates. Support the enablement and optimization of Oracle Fusion ERP AI capabilities. Design, develop, and deliver AI-driven solutions and automations. Collaborate with teams to identify AI-enabled process optimization opportunities.

Work Experience

Required: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration, Oracle ERP, enabling Oracle Fusion AI capabilities, and user management/IAM policies with OCI. First-hand experience implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle Cloud solutions (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, Compute, Storage, Networking, ATP Database, Security) and the Oracle ERP solution. Advantageous: Experience with Microsoft technologies and knowledge of ERP modules (HR, Finance, Procurement).

Skills

Ability to liaise effectively with internal technical and business stakeholders. Ability to coordinate activities involving internal resources, consultants, and system integrators.
