Responsibilities
Assist the Media and Communications Officer with public relations and communications activities. Support the development and maintenance of the IOM Republic of Korea website. Prepare information and outreach materials for external audiences (beneficiaries, media, public) and internal communications (newsletters). Distribute organizational and project publications to stakeholders. Draft media briefings and press releases. Maintain relationships with media representatives and partner organizations, and update the media contact list. Monitor media for references to IOM and relevant migration trends, preparing internal overviews. Perform other assigned duties.
Work Experience
Experience is required in managing social media platforms and digital communications. Desirable experience includes marketing communications, public relations, journalism, media relations, media monitoring, drafting press materials, digital campaigns, and influencer engagement. Prior work in marketing/branding roles is an advantage.
Skills
Proficiency in multimedia production (graphic design, photography, video editing using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Skills in media analysis tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics). Competence in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of social media engagement and content performance monitoring.
