IOM
Consultoría Para Producción De Materiales Audiovisuales
Organizational Context
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Peru implements diverse projects focused on social inclusion, entrepreneurship, employment, humanitarian aid, and protection for migrants and host communities. These initiatives require clear, visually consistent communication. Two key projects, one supporting Venezuelan migrants' integration funded by KOICA and another enhancing humanitarian aid for migrants funded by the Republic of Korea, necessitate specialized communication to ensure donor visibility and institutional positioning.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to produce audiovisual materials that document the results and impact of two IOM projects in Peru: one focused on the socio-economic integration of Venezuelan refugees and migrants, funded by KOICA, and another enhancing humanitarian assistance and health services for migrants, funded by the Republic of Korea. The primary goal is to create compelling content that serves as a key tool for accountability to donors, effectively showcases the contribution of Korean cooperation, and highlights the OIM's institutional positioning. The materials will be disseminated through OIM's digital channels, KOICA, and the Korean Embassy, requiring narratives tailored for national and international audiences, with a specific emphasis on Korean stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end production of five audiovisual materials, including a closing video for the KOICA project, a trailer for this video, and two life stories from the Korea project. This involves creative conceptualization, scriptwriting, storyboarding, pre-production planning, field production (including travel to Lima, Tacna, and Tumbes), and post-production. Specific tasks include filming testimonials and interviews with beneficiaries and relevant staff, ensuring diverse representation, and producing a photographic record of project impact. All videos must include subtitles in Spanish, English, and Korean (where applicable) and adhere to OIM and donor branding guidelines, delivering high-quality MP4 files. The consultant must also secure informed consent from all participants and provide editable project files.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of professional audiovisual production experience is required. Documented experience producing videos for international organizations or cooperation agencies is essential. Proven experience in producing documentary-style videos on migrant life stories, particularly for KOICA-funded projects or similar international cooperation initiatives, is highly desirable.
Skills
Professional video editing and post-production skills. Ability to develop visual narratives for diverse cultural contexts. Experience with international teams and remote review processes. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Familiarity with OIM and donor branding guidelines. Desirable: Korean language proficiency for professional communication.
