Job Purpose
The Project Team Lead (Integration) is responsible for overseeing and guiding the implementation of integration activities for third-country nationals within the 'Helios+' project in Crete. This role contributes to the overall objective of promoting the successful integration of beneficiaries of international and temporary protection into Greek society. The position ensures the effective delivery of employability support, language training, vocational development, and independent living assistance, including rental subsidies and social cohesion initiatives. By managing project activities and team performance, the role directly supports the project's goal of fostering social inclusion and economic independence for beneficiaries, aligning with IOM's mandate and the program's strategic aims.
Responsibilities
Supervise and guide direct reports, developing methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures to ensure quality service delivery and project activity monitoring. Monitor the quality of services provided by the project team and implementing partners through verification, site visits, and reporting to senior management. Collaborate with other project components, IOM departments, and external actors to ensure harmonized and efficient activity implementation. Coordinate effectively with the Implementing Partner to ensure timely and qualitative service delivery, including information provision and logistical arrangements. Ensure the collection and quality of data and Means of Verification, and timely submission of reports to senior management. Continuously assess project needs and report findings for informed decision-making. Represent the project in relevant meetings with donors, stakeholders, and working groups. Participate in drafting donor reports and perform other assigned duties.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of previous work experience is required. Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred.
Skills
Adequate combination of knowledge, education, training, and skills for essential functions. Computer literacy in standard software applications. Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles. A valid driver's license with at least five years of driving experience is an advantage.
