Job Purpose
The Admin Project Associate will support the Mobility Pathways and Inclusion (MPI) team in Iraq under the guidance of the Chief of Mission and Head of the MPI Division. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth administrative and operational functioning of the program. The associate will assist in managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating program activities, and liaising with various stakeholders to facilitate the effective implementation of IOM's migration-related initiatives. The position contributes to the overall success of IOM's mandate in Iraq by providing essential support to program delivery and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily administrative tasks for the MPI team, including drafting various forms and templates for reports, surveys, and monitoring. Coordinate and track MPI expenses, suggesting and implementing resource reallocations as needed. Provide logistical and operational support for off-site trainings, workshops, and field visits. Liaise with national and international staff on administrative, financial, and operational matters. Raise purchase requisitions and assist in coordinating with departments like ICT. Organize and maintain project files and documents. Support the culturally and gender-sensitive implementation of IOM activities. Travel within Iraq as required by the program. Draft meeting minutes, reports, and other program-related documents.
Work Experience
Experience in communicating and working with diverse individuals, governments, and humanitarian actors (UN agencies, NGOs). Experience in development or humanitarian programming, particularly within international or national NGOs/UN agencies, is considered an asset.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Power BI. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Experience in data management and visualization. Skills in administrative and logistics coordination. Demonstrated teamwork and professionalism.
