Organizational Context
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks an HR Associate (Reporting) in Manila, Philippines. This role operates under the Sr. HR Officer and JPO (HR Officer), collaborating with global, regional, and country offices. The position is accountable for global HR data extraction and reporting operations.
Job Purpose
The HR Associate (Reporting) is responsible for managing global HR data extraction and reporting operations. This involves collaborating with various IOM units worldwide, including Headquarters, the Global Shared Services Center (GSSC), and Regional and Country Offices. The role ensures the accurate and timely provision of HR data and reports, supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Sr. HR Officer (Workforce Analytics & Reporting) and the JPO (HR Officer (AI and HR Solutions)), contributing to the overall HR analytics and reporting functions.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the extraction, consolidation, and analysis of HR data, primarily from the ERP system, and identifying additional data sources. The role involves liaising with requestors to document reporting needs and deliver tailored reports with preliminary interpretations. It also entails supporting the review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data extraction and report production, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. The HR Associate will assist users with reporting incidents, promote self-service reporting solutions, and suggest tools to improve efficiency. Monitoring data quality, administering distribution lists, and supporting training sessions for end-users are also core duties. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining user guides, FAQs, and release notes, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Requires experience in data extraction, report preparation, and dashboard creation, preferably from an Oracle ERP solution. Experience working with international organizations is considered an advantage.
Skills
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is advantageous. Experience with Microsoft collaboration solutions (SharePoint, Teams). Ability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented outputs with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and self-learning capabilities. Excellent writing and communication skills.
